Building what now?

Corin Dam

In these pages, Nation Building broadly means anything that builds up the country. That could be physical infrastructure, like the beautiful Corin Dam (above and home panel), but it could equally refer to anything that brings us together as people.

Issues that can be considered part of nation building are taxes, recognising our First Nations people and cultures, and addressing intergenerational trauma - by tackling, for example, gendered violence, family abuse, homelessness, and long term unemployment.

A commitment to Nation Building is the least we can expect of any party aspiring to government.
